time will tell if it Justin actually does make it legal, as there are a lot of folks and provincial governments that are not on the same wavelength.

I hope it becomes legal on July 1, 2018 as stated by our PM, but I won't believe it until it happens.

I may sound pessimistic but I do recall Justin's father saying in 1977 that he was in favor of decriminalization, and we know that didn't happen

I think at this point it's gone to far. It will be legalized, just who know when. Considering the provinces haven't been able to figure shit out over 3 years and Nevada legalized and had to market in 8 months; I am also a little pessimistic. My opinion is that world wide the view on mj has and is changing for the better. Also with LP's ramping up production and the amount of dispensaries nation wide not be prosecuted, points in the direction of legalization... The cronies just wanna make their money first.

I'm considering it. Greater montreal area
I'm thinking easy cash, no overhead. Considering starting a grow Consulting business. With the amount of noobs and lazy people it could be viable. In home consultation on room layout, equipment, nutes,soil,dwc,airo..etc.. I'm mean people can just use Google but it's just not the same as person to person, unreliable if you don't check your sources and like I said before ppl are lazy.

What a bunch of suckers. Do you really think some little average citizen can compete with the huge greenhouse operations already established? Maybe if the regs were like in the US states, where they only issue as many licenses as are required for the specific zone. Trudeau's idiotic plan is to let anyone sell anywhere in the nation, so that "mom and pop" are competing head on with companies like Canopy with billions in funding. How the hell do you think THAT would end up? How the bloody hell is somebody WITHOUT a billion dollars and a greenhouse already set up going to compete with someone who does in a wide open national market and with licenses being issued to anybody who pays the fee and meets the qualifications of security etc? Like the posters here, people will ALL think it's the gravy train and ALL get into it and ALL except Canopy and their ilk will find out the reality of Canadian legalization. What happens when there's 10 weed producers in one city, which is actually a low estimate of what there will be? I'll tell you what happens, they all say "curse you, Trudeau, you destroyed our fucking lives and now we're fucking bankrupt after taking out millions in loans to pay for all the stuff required to get the license, which now we can never make back in ten lifetimes".

yeah I fully agree with that statement. I was thinking more the home grower side of things. People like me. At the moment I'm spending around 500$ a month for my reefer so I'd prefer to pay a slight increase in hydro. Considering I have everything I need for the next several grows my cost for them is water and electricity (running led so that's cheap)

small businesses are able to compete with walmart. I'm sure that growers who find a niche market that big corporations are not interested in will survive and make a profit. where I live in Nevada it is impossible to find high CBD strains.not enough of a market for them to interest large corporate farms but enough MMJ patient to support a small business if start-up cost were not so high due to government fees and regulations in this state.small growers in california and colorado seem to be doing OK.

to start a consulting business you need a reputation in the industry.people I meet ask me to teach them to grow because they have seen my girls and tasted what I grow. they can see from my grows that you do not need to spend a lot of money or to learn a lot of advanced growing techniques to grow your own pot for personal use. how will you sell yourself to new growers?
this guy is doing it for free and runs a hydro shop, what are your credentials ?

I don't have credentials! Not claiming too be a total expert.. I'm one who believes something's are just learnt through age and experience.. aka wisdom. That does not mean however one could not put together a profitable, knowledgeable business. Like most who don't know but have a business to run, you get the right people where you need them.. I'm just trying to be open minded here and generate some cash out of an industry I thought would never be legal.. in high school I joked about becoming a pro joint roller... U look on IG and it's being done these days

the grow boss is anything but free. there is a charge to call his hotline. he has a ton of good information, however i think he may have sold out he promotes an aufull lot of product. i made a comment once asking abought an alternative product when he was doing a vid on the tb naterals enhance. his short answer was it dosnt work then blocked me from anymore comments. he was being paid by tb and wanted no mention of other products that do the same thing only cheaper

Home grower phhhh. So you smoke 2 ounces a month I presume. Here's the deal, 4 plants, no more, no less, at any stage, at 30 cm tall, they haven't said how wide so yup that may be the game changer if I can spread em out to 5-6 ft lol, oh and that is per house. I just don't think this is gonna be good because I'll always be over the limit. As for consulting, well good luck, not gonna say you can't, just good luck. How are the mom and pops gonna compete? The government is hoping the same model as small brewers will evolve and as we know some have done quite well. The product will dictate the success.

I'm figuring $50oz in a couple years and then I'll just buy the little I really need.

It's just a f'n plant and those that sell for big profits are going to take the hit. Tough tittie.
