Caring for mother plant

High all,

Working on keeping a mother of my Lemon Skunk, she is a clone from a Lemon Skunk Feminised seed from Green House seeds.

I am trying to keep her rather small and bushy by topping the plant, the picture shown below has 3 lines (red, black, and blue) I am looking for advice where I should make the cut.

Any help is appreciated.

Agreed on rEd, but get that thing healthy first. Looks like you have nute burn pretty bad.

Edit: I second guessed my reply due to the fact that once it's healthy, it will be bigger. Try to make the topping cut (again after t gain some healthy growth back) at around the third or fourth node. If the top is big enough, you may even be able to cut it cloned right away. A nute burn is a bit of a shock to the plant, so why add
Ore right now with a cut.

Yeah she was burned really bad in the beginning and was frightfully small but from the black line up she is slowly becoming less and less burnt.

I had 5 clones that I had originally cut and all rooted but my power grower spray/drip coil soaked the plants with nutrient water and almost all foliage was destroyed; the picture below are the remaining clones that lived, they have all been a little retarded since.

Yeah. Any plant shock can make them "agriculturally slow" (would that be the politically correct term for retarded plants). All kinds of funny stuff happens from shock. Worst of which is the dreaded sex change.

You've already been well advised so I'll just add my experience with the LS.
It was the first mother I kept and to this day has been the best. I have had her now for over a year and taken dozens of clones. She has a great shape with short nodes and never runs out of new shoots. It's very easy to keep short.
I know once your LS gets healthy she will do a good job for ya.
Best of luck :peace:

High all,

Here are what they look like now, the twins are now almost 1.5 feet long and about .5 foot tall and the mother is growing nicely.
