Carbon Filters as low as $42.70!!!

Nice find greenfinger, but for anyone who is interested in diy carbon filters here is a link to a tutorial. I followed the instructions to a T and it works excellent, it cost me less than 40 dollars to make too! Here is the link:

The best deal I've found is 1.99US per pound but it's not in vancouver. Still may be worth it I guess if you order enough.

Reviving this thread as I am deciding on a carbon filter. As you know, the choices are endless. And so are the prices. I have a 4" vent clearing out an airconditioned and dehumidified 6x6 grow room. Planning on a 4" HO CanFan to blow.
The choices are many many many. I am going to go with this Foothill filter, the 4"x18". I probably could get by with the 12" but hey, these are very easy to refill too. No buying a new one every year or so. Anyone else been using these lately? Any more "reviews"?
