Carbon Filter outside of tent??

Even that might be a problem because the filter on the exhaust fan slows the speed.. so then the inline fan will make your tent blow outwards like positive pressure

First off I want to say thank you to everyone on here that has helped so far with this particular grow Ive started,

Now onto the business, I always see everyone putting the carbon filter inside the tent but little mention of it being put outside, has anyone tried it? Is there any reason for it not to work?

I was thinking about putting ventilation to it after the fan and having that lead to the carbon filter which would sit either firmly on the floor or on a rack outside the tent. Is there anything wrong with this idea?

The obvious reason would be to secure some more room in the tent
You can place it outside and it will still work. I kept mine outside, but I had a 6 inch fan sucking the air into the ducting with a filter over the opening to prevent debris from getting inside the fan/filter.. I also used a 4 inch inline fan connected to the filter to help boost the air thru the long duct.. 6ft from fan to fan.
