rock salt goes in like an inch and burns like hell, get hit with it you'll wish they had just shot you with buckshot

but you have to use the big rock road salt that little shit flies apart and doesn't go in as far

how do you shoot rock salt out of it?

the salt would keep my wounds infection free while also teaching me an important lesson, well done.

Never mind I jusr checked it out and its only really effective at 10-4 feet
with 10 barely penetrating and 4 fucking shit up lol.
Id rather get ahold of some rubber bullets or just really shoot at them

That's nasty man, not saying they dont deserve it. I built a net gun this summer it was rad shot a ten by ten net but not very far more of a novelty but fun to shoot at your friends walking into a party. I'm sure your could hook a battery up haha

No way would I consider something like it now, but when I was a teen we used to find unlocked cars and steal the change out of them until we got enough to get some alcohol. Never broke windows to get in or anything though.

you can buy em online (the cartridges) or you can load em yourself. and no, the salt wont fuck up the barrel (it softer than steel) just make sure you clean the piss out of it after firing to avoid corrosion issues.

its much much funner though to use a 12ga muzzle loading shotgun ( i like the double barrel myself.) for salt shots. then its just a matter of a equal volume of powder to shot. 89 grains to 1 3/8 oz of salt is a nasty load that will ruin anyones day up to 20-30 yds, and will still sting up to 50..... the extra coarse grain sidewalk de-icer (calcium chloride/sodium Chloride) works great... you can play around with the amount of powder in the shot, but go any higher than 95 grains and it just pulverizes the salt when it leaves the barrel.. it still put on hurtin on someone 10-15 yds away tho... wadding makes a big difference too in range. takes some practice to get it right, but once you figure out how to load a shot for your altitude, youll never have to worry about those rabbits (or rippers) showing up in your garden again
