cant believe it not now aarrggh

think i ve found the start of budrot in my buds and some little v stoned flys..... noticed a dark patch where the laves were crisping up an drying out pulle em and they come off easy with a hairy brown soft bottom stem, also on it was a little fly looked at it under scope, fcking freaky its covered in trichs with massive eyes. lol trichs are amber and cloudy so ready to chop but i havent flushed yet... can i flush now and hope the rot doesnt spread or am i best to cut my losses to prevent further damage? have had rot before and recognise the smell also. lucky i keepin a close eye the buds are so dense i bin cautious humid is only 27% i sprayed leaves with halo the other day and i think its this that has done it some run off must have run into the buds and started it off bollox lesson learned so wat u all think chop or wait and flush like i said its ripe but worried bout taste , its grown in rockwool so bin giving hydro nutes every other watering

im hinking of choppin tonite if u think i shouldnt please speak up

Chop them now cut your losses. flushing is not going to make a big differance and it will take 1-2 weeks for a flush to kick in. Good Luck!

I agree with slk. Cut your losses now unless you are not certain you have bud rot.

k thnx guys its wat i thought jus didnt wanna do something silly. im sure it is rot jus the very first signs of it as i look at em every day. its got a smell thats dif to the rest of plant . gutted will never foliar spray so late in flower again

so chopped last night and yep mould for sure lost about 10g dry i guess coulda been worse, shame it was from my top colas though. cheers for ya quick replies yesterday lads rep+ here sum pics

Bud rot is a right fucker. I had it on my first grow. Ended up cutting away a good half once of dry weight.

This time round I will be leaving my fan and extractor fan on 24/7 during flowering, and inserting straws between the buds and the stems.

never heard of the straw method, but can see its benefits and yeah ya right about the fan. i tink my main prob is as its outdoors in a shed i have to use aheater at night. must have caused the rot even though humid was 27 %. that said my easyriders were fine. twice now i have been hit wit mould not consecutive but nether the less frustrating as fck. never mind spilt milk an all that am looking forward to smoking the rest wen dry

Hey everyone, so I have the same problem with my flowering plants. Never had it and cropped out a few times before with no problem. The only thing different is I used somehthing called flowericious "bloom" suppose to make bigger buds, but I use ALL canna products. I dont know if mixing these caused the bud rot, or too much moisture. Either way, I need to find out what is causing it, and how to fix it. I cant keep trimming my colas off, sad.

If anyone has a real, good way to do this please fill me in.

do you keep ya fans on at night? i think i will do this next time, its to do wit stagnent moist air gettin in 2 ya buds which is y i think my heater had something 2 do wit it. humid air staying in the room for 12 hrs a night, my easyriders wernt affected at all, but the buds on her , although were bigger in size, were no where near as dense and solid in structure, also someone reccomended putting straws into the top collas to allow air flow into the middle? sounds like it makes sense.
