canopy temp???

The first harvest was kinda fluffy and when I lowered to 72-76 the buds did get denser. Now I try to stick to 75 and no lower than 65 lights off, usually maintain 68-69 lights off since I run lights at night and keep my house at 70 and my room is in basement without any heat or ac pumped into it. May have to add AC if I stay indoors for summer.

I have a 16" oscillating fan gong betwee the canopy and the bottoms of the lights and it keeps a decent mix of the air, but any more fan than that and turbulence starts to crisp up the leaves...

From what I have read and what others have told me, roots like temps around 72, but mine are like yours near 68... been trying to get my temps all dialed in for the next run, but have not gotten there yet. A narrow band when I keep the room around 75... night temps is what gets me thinking that I need to raise them some to keep the root temp up... thinking I need to get a data logger Temp/Humidity sensor in the root area to try to dial it in without raising canopy temp too much.

My last round i went with the upper range and the buds were a bit on the fluffy side...
