can you successfully clone auto flowering plants? since you cant force flower, and plants take a short time to mature will clone flower at same time as mother? will mother not yield at all? I know the plant has a short life cycle but, I want to maximize plants to seed ratio. Or am I just pissing up a wet rope? comments appreciated.

My friend use to grow cannabis ruderalis and he was saying the only time he would be able to keep that strain alive was to induce it to seed out then he would start from seed again.

Is this some new slang I'm not cool enough to understand, or the result of skipping too much english class to smoke up in the forest??
