Cannabis is a Gift from God

Tradition in India maintains that the gods sent man the Hemp plant so that he might attain delight and courage and have heightened sexual desires. When nectar or Amrita dropped down from heaven, Cannabis sprouted from it. Another story tells how, when the gods, helped by demons, chrned the milk ocean to obtain Amrita, one of the resulting nectars was Cannabis. It was consecrated to Shiva and was Indra's favorite drink. After the churning of the ocean, demons attempted to gain control of Amrita, but the gods were able to prevent this seizure, giving Cannabis the name Vijaya ("victory") to commemorate their success. Ever since, this plant of the gods has been held in India to bestow supernatural powers on its users.

I just plagiarized this from "Plants of the Gods."

some Christians (including me), believe that cannabis is the tree of life in the bible. it truly was put here by god for people to enjoy and to help with illnesses and such. :weed:

Find me actual pages of marijuana & religion tied together. No means to stir up an arguement just never seen these two combined other than a medicinal way.

Ha, I've never heard of that before...guess its a cool idea to think about

exodus 30:23 false lies about calamus, which can be synthesized to be TMA, another form of MDMA is because
in 1484, Roman Pope Innocent VIII started to believe witches exist and that they were midwives and herbalists who used unholy potions and caused the bad weather. Well, we all know that if someone had magical powers to create storms, they wouldn’t have allowed themselves to be tortured and burned at the steak right? He also declared in 1484, that cannabis was an unholy sacrament. King Ferdinand of Aragon also gave Pope Innocent VIII one-hundred Moorish slaves who shared them with his “favorite cardinals.” The whole chapter of Exodus is about God exiling the slaves from Egypt. This is unjustified redundant corruption/racism.

Idk, but I know it can make u smarter, well, happy, ease, social, smarter, but I know if u use it real heavy, not all , it
can have few side effects, not body shakin crazy withdrawals but some can have side efects, like if u abuse something highly, u will have some kinda bad feedback or negative push(sometimes), this is still a big debate, but I know a few ppl feel something when they quit something, but as far as religiosity, it's possible, jus depends on ur point of view, much love to everyone tho(I'm throwed right now, don't give a damn tho, 1love)

It is well known that hemp is part of the annointing oils.
If you follow the link I posted you will also find some interesting psycedelic aspects to the jewish religious history.
But most of all, if you ever had a decent tryptamine experience, and you read the bible, especialy anything where it talks about someone being in the spirrit, and you read the descriptions, its like BULLSEYE.

Elsewhere in the Talmud (Tractate
Avoda Zara, 24b) as well as in the early
Jewish hermeneutical texts (Genesis Rabbah,
54) the following extolling poem appears
(cited in Elior 2004, p. 252):
Sing, O sing, acacia tree
Ascend in all thy gracefulness
With golden weave they cover thee,
The devir palace hears thy eulogy
With diverse jewels art thou adorned.
