Cannabis flowering in a weird way

my camnabis plant just started flowering , it's some kind of an unknown sativa strain. After almost 10 weeks of vegging I have a plant about 2.5 feet tall . I induced flowering by placing it in a dark room after 5 pm in the evening and placing it in the sun at around 7 am in the morning. It shower pre flowers about 7 days ago and my buds look really weird and the pistils are already turning brown. I don't see any budding on the main stem however everywhere else I see pistils and bud. Is this normal. Btw it's a bag seed.

That plant is stretched to hell, and hasn't fattened up much. I would give it some fox farms nutrients and let it fatten up for a while. Looks healthy otherwise.

Okay so basically it needs some nutrients huh?

welcome to RIU.

because it's a sativa leaning strain, she is definitely going to need a bigger pot to flower in for you. try to put her in at least a 5-gallon bucket (3-gallon if that's all you can do) and be prepared for a very long flowering time. she looks fine but as mentioned earlier, i would start lightly feeding her. good luck on your grow!

Thanks for your replies guys , appreciate it a lot . This is my first grow . I will get some of that plant food and feed it. But why aren't there any pistils on the mail stem

by preflowers do you mean it showed sex?
that 7 days ago, was that after flip or when the plant showed maturity and sex..

anyway its fine, the new growth will be more compact and have more pistils, its normal for them to turn brown. each calyx is its own entity ..
you do have some minor nute issues as stated.

if you can give it more light youll have fine bud. you may want to start wiggling stems bending a little back and forth though lol if you arent already . your most likely gonna need to support her

Yes I'm growing it outside . I'm from India and summers are really hot here and it gets a lot of sunlight. I just lock it in a room for the 12/12 cycle. Also we don't really get nutrients for plants here , I mean we do but not the good stuff like fox farm.

dont worry about all that too much...
ive done whole grows never watering or feeding, relying on nature
done whole grows at or above 100°f

these plants managed to grow outdoors without human intervention and do so healthily.

im not saying its optimum..but possible
also branding means nothing, look at basic npk values...piss around it if you have too lol ....yes ive done that as well


growing outdoors in tx i understand the harsh environment. weve gone 12 months without measurable rainfall. we've gone a summer 100+days 100°+

Ha ha lol I wouldn't mind pissing but will it help ? I will surely buy a basic npk fertiliser.

diluted urine and wood ash but will it effect the taste?

and realistically you can get good bud off ash and urine. faster than composting too lol

After adding some npk fertiliser all I see is more pistils but I don't see any flower growing.

More pistils is the beginning of the magic.

Could Potassium Nitrate be used for nutes as well? (KNO3) aka stump remover to add potassium and nitrogen?

KNO3 is fine for all types of growing. I didn't read back through why you are using it and etc I am just answering the question. Want to fully understand Nitrogen in a couple minutes?

But organic soil water only is the way to grow. The more technology improves the more we are moving back to what the Indians taught us when we first came over on the Mayflower.
