Cannabis cup entry?

i have been browsing the internet for the past 2 hours trying to find out how to enter as a breeder for the cannabis cup and no luck. the only information i have found is on buying a judges pass and i am really starting to get sour because i cant find this basic information, to anyone with any advice please let me know, thanks very much - DNK

hmmm if i couldnt find out how to enter something like that i would just show up. maybe thats what you have to do. Just show up with your strain.
Personaly i could never find much info on the cannabis cup (how to get there or even where it was exactly.)

well i wasn't planing on entering this year but i have been selecting a few personal strains all bred by me or my father for the next year or the one after that, thanks for the reply and if you hit me up with a pm i could send you some of my genetics the end of this year.

Unfortunately information about the cup is difficult to find. I think that is intentional though.

well there is a family strain we had been calling the no name but now its "item-9" its a male g13 x with a female cherry ak-48 i was planning on entering this strain if possible and this year i am working on a secret strain that i will grow for another 2 years before i would even dream of entering it just so i can isolate the more heavy pheno. but i also have a white mystic ( great white shark dad x blue mystic mom) and the last stable genetic on my list as of now is the supper sour silver ( supper sour diesel x supper silver haze) - oh and that is a fucking amazing photo you have there as you avatar

from what i know you have to affiliate with a coffeshop from holland ,only coffe shops can enter strains from my knowledge.

I don't think there will even be a Cannabis Cup this year, atleast not in Netherlands. For one, the foreigners(besides Germans) are not allowed to purchase/smoke MJ from the coffee shops anymore and also last years Cannabis Cup was raided by the Police.

Foreigners can still buy/smoke weed in Amsterdam proper, at least through the end of this year.

On a Dutch cup, HT magazine has said there will be one for this year. . .but of course that's what they will say right up until the moment they say something else!
In the meantime, HT has already started hosting alternative "medical" cups in the USA, to hedge their bets.
The Cannabis Cup is huge business for the industry, acting as a sort of trade show.

My advice to the original poster is that as a small "no-name" breeder (ie one who doesn't spend a lot of money advertising in High Times) you probably won't even be allowed to enter the "contest". (If, indeed, it even really *IS* a "contest". . .some have alleged it isn't).
