Canna Coir Questions

Im considering my next grow to be with Canna Coir But I cant find much info on this subject.
Im assuming the Canna can be watered like soil and retains moisture the same way but in itself is inert. Can I use standard Nutes like GH or AN?

Also does anyone know of a grower using 5gal bucket and canna coir?

Im not sure if I know what Im talking about but it seems you can water this medium much like soil yet get better results much like hydroponics.

Any info would be much appreciated!

canna coco is some premium shit!

if you were using strictly coco, i would use coco specific nutes. i would just use canna coco a & b. use the additives as well....

coco supposedly gives you best of both worlds. hydro medium with explosive growth rates/progress with the taste of soil grown herb!

So would I grow them like in Soil? (less extensive as hydro) Or Would it be as labor full as hydro? (checking PH everyday, Mixing to right ppm every otherday, and 1 mess up could destroy the whole crop?)

yeah Ive done Hydro but it seems a little more involved than soil grows. i.e. one wrong change in the system can almost prove instant death verses soil being a little more forgiving.

PS Ive never grown MJ in hydro but Ive done other plants so maybe im wrong, I dunno

I use cococoir in a flood and drain system. I take a ppm reading, fill the tanks and wait for the pumps to come on at 11:00. 20 minutes later they have flooded and drained and I am done for the day. VV
