Hello I've got big jugs of Canna Aqua vega and flores but now have some plants vegging in coco and really would rather not have to buy more nutes, canna A+B for coco. Does anyone have experience with using the aqua vega and flores in coco?

Thank you!

I took a look at the website and it appears that it should be fine to use on either. I assume you are running a hydroponic system? My understanding is that many of the hydroponic specific nutrients can be used interchangeably with soil, soilless, and hydroponics but that sometimes the soil or soilless nutrients might not be usable for hydro. I currently use Jack's 321 in a soil based medium and I know the same fertilizer can be used for hydroponic. The amounts might not be the same and you might have to adjust the PH differently for coco vs hydro.

I have the aqua vega and flores as I started to do dwc made a mess of it and went back to coco while I sorted it out. But now the nutes im using in coco I don't think are so great, woma basic 1 dry nutes, so I'd like to use canna as that's what I've had experience with in the past but was always in coco, a+b, but I don't want to go buy A+B for coco when I have all these dwc nutes, but also don't want to use the wrong stuff in coco and cause problems with the plants I now have growing.

Thank you for your help!

I think you will be fine using the same for DWC and Coco. Coco doesn't add anything nutrient wise to the medium so you are pretty much in control of ALL the nutrients, just like in DWC. You aught to be fine.

I've just read some people talking about needing to add calmag if I am using Hydro nutes for coco. Do you or anyone else know if this is necessary?
