i have 2 autos that are flowering and almost done and the rest are different kushs. i dont have flowers yet they just hit the growth spirit before they start floweringare you guys using early genetics?cause october 1-7 strains wont be showing yet....maybe preflowers....
It is very strain dependent and also most locations don't receive direct light 14.5 hours a day unless your fortunate enough to grow in an open fieldTheres still 14.5 hours of sunlight a day in mid Ontario... seems a little to high to promote flower
I am also in S Alta and have experimented with many strains outdoor. The only ones I have luck with are Dr.Greenthumbs IAF and its crosses. The strait Iranian Autoflower will all finish on time here, the crosses are about 50/50. This year I have 4 of his crosses, two are flowering two are not.Alberta is a tough place to grow outside!was just wondering when outdoor flowering will start in alberta im thinking its starting soon but was wondering if it was this week or do we have a few more weeks to go Southern Alberta

The flavor of the IAF is not my favorite, I am fussy. The yield is all over the place . I have got as little as 3/4 oz up to one time 21oz.I start inside in March .IAf x c99 I have had good luck with. IAF x ogkush problems with early flowering .AFx diesel also 50/50 flowering in Aug..I am also running Dr.Greenthumbs Gold mine, one is flowering one is not. I bring them in my green house in Oct . Those IAF strains can easily handle being snowed upon and up to -4 or- 5 as long as it warms up in the day. Super tough, don't mind bits of cold.Freezing even, especially in the ground,as apposed to a pot.what are your thoughts on the iaf?what crosses are you growing?
