I would suggest about July first, if they get a little big you can always tie them down just a bit usually when I do this they develop one nice cola and not many secondary branches

Your first frost comes in late October? In Canada? What part of Canada are you in? I live in southern Wisconsin, and we can get frost anytime after mid-September. I'd make sure you have your frost dates right before you plan any further, because you may be in for an unhappy surprise.

Hey man im starting my seedlings in early may late april just after the last frost of the year for sure and what city u in man? Im in Ottawa and my first frost is set for oct 5th. Plant when seedlings and if they are full grown they can survive light frosts and heavy frosts if they are covered. If the frost is only once ever few days and its hot in the day it can make ur buds and leaves purple which is pretty damn sweet for me anyways :P but the means lack of phos but now im rambling if theres 2 or 3 days of frost then pull em early or insulate em well but these plants can survive a shit kicking frost wise so good luck

Yea autoflowers or tying down would work. I'd start them at the regular time and do intensive super cropping and tying down of branches. You'll be just as stealthy but a lot happier when it comes to harvest time.
