Canada Customs have my seeds

So I bought seeds from AMS, and two weeks later (now) , I've received a letter from Canada's customs that they need my permission to open a letter which is less than 30 grams. I've read that It already happened to other online, but no one mentionned what FINALLY happened? Will I loose my seeds? The letter says that after 30 days they will pass my package to Canada Post. I'm asumming the post will open it then send it to me. Should I wait 30 days or buy seeds locally. My local shop sell seeds so fuking expensive. 3 seeds for 120$.

I've email AMS about this, they still haven't responded to me.

Well,I personally wouldn't consent to them opening anything.I don't know what is legal to have in your country, but if they are going to open it up anyway I wouldn't have a signed piece of paper showing ownership.Wish I could help more but It's legal where I am from.Good Luck and I hope everything works out.

Look up if importation of seeds is legal to Canada. If you're local shop sells them then I would think they are legal. I am American though, so I might be wrong. If it's not illegal to import them and it's not illegal to possess them, then I wouldn't think you should worry. Also, is it true that the cops won't do anything about your plants until they're in flowering? My family has a cabin up in Ontario and we've known a family for about 20 years and that's what they told me. I didn't know if it was true or not. Thanks

I agree with highifly. You could also try different seed banks like attitude or sos. I know attitude has an option when you check out where you buy a t-shirt or a mug as insurance for your order. for the extra 10-15 they will resend any orders that customs seizes or are lost in the mail

ignore it and hope for the best :D

best of luck, might consider a mother and do clones, or make some seed`s yourself (get a packed of Reg seed`s and grow out a healthy male)

Another thing I would suggest napster,if you go to any seed bank, stealth shipping is well worth the couple extra bones it costs.I have done it everytime and have never failed to receive my goodies.

Guess I should pay attention didn't see you already said it Dan.

Thank you all,

I think I ordered stealth shipping. It was weird because AMS mastercard online system was not working so I ordered via Paypal, and the customer service did not ask me for stealth. I would have taken it otherwise. I guess they included stealth because I order 1 northern lights for 72 Euros + their free 10 seeds.

I'm affraid that I am under the radar now, and that in 4 months the police will bust into my house. Because they've opened my package at the customs.

If you are crazy worried about it dude,I would contact PayPal and your Bank and report some suspicious charges.

I always try to by stuff Im worried about inside our borders. I bought nutes from the states
and customs opened the package. Since then Im always hesitant ordering from outside
of Canada.

There are good reviews about seedbanks here like BCbuddepot maybe try an order
from within the borders next time to avoid the customs risk.

I wouldn't stress bro,I just seen in ICMAG forum tons of people that had seeds seized, and no legal action. They just send them to Canada post and mark them as undeliverable.

You're not gonna get busted because you ordered a few seeds and might be growing them. Maybe thousands of seeds, I would worry, but not 10 or 11 seeds.
