I veg for about 96 days i like massive trees but i did have a white widow mom that i had for 6 months once i was done with her giving babies i put her into flower and within a week she turned and hermed on me threw off balls sacks everywhere had to cut her down, but all her generations of babies were fine. i think she was too old for flowering. It was odd for me, but i think some strains dislike long veg times ive had a bay dream (regular seed) left it in for 96 days by that time she was almost budding in veg she had small buds sights forming.

Interesting question. ....generally u can veg as long as u like but the plant wants to propagate itself in the worst way and my guess is it will either flower despite its exposure to day length, make seeds and die. Cannabis is an annual.
Or it will still flower, go to seed and you'll have a real sad looking plant for as long as you keep it alive. Either way...since we grow for dank...you won't get the results you're looking for bc you're working against the plants natural progression.

One other thing, in case nobody else mentioned it already, is that the longer you grow in a soil system the more important flushing with water becomes. I usually never had to deal with that, but I had a long veg cycle with my latest plant and the PPM's got too high and burned my plant. Shes stunted now, hopefully recovering >.>

Just something to keep an eye on if you go for an older plant!
