can you use molasses in waterfarm buckets

Ive done a small bit a research thru the forum and really didnt find cons to using molasses in a drip bucket and still I am not goin to experiment in the last week does anyone have any info on the matter ?

Sugars in a water solution can ferment raising hell with ph and ppm.
I put some in a dwc set up and it really messed my plants up.
All the leaves turned yellow in about 8 hours and they died shortly after. Not even flushing and running straight water helped. I would not do that.

yeah molasses and hydro don't mix well. Try a product like SWEET, or SUGAR DADDY, they will give you the same results as molasses without messing things up but they do cost more.
