Can you Turn PF TEK CAKES into a more BULK RESULT by breaking them up??

i was wondering if i let the pf tek cakes colonize could i break it up and put it all in one large tote full and mix it with vermiculite and coir?

I was wondering the same thing, because once its mostly colonized its also much more resistant to contams. meaning lower chance of failure.

ya, i was keeping up with a mush thread and they said they tried to do that and they grew a lot quicker but ended up being contamed. Extra sterile and you probably could pull it off

I'm doing it right now. They are taking forever to fruit so maybe contam might turn into an issue. The remaining cakes are already starting their second flush.
