Can you top a side branch?

can you top side branches, like not the main cola but the other ones. like cut the branch in half leaving half the leaves, would it grow out 2 new tops where it was cut?

i concur. anywhere you cut a growing tip, the plant tries to grow 2 new ones, no matter the location on the plant.

k thanks guys. yeh i was thinking it would make it nice and bushy, i just wasnt sure it would work. i wanted to ask and get some feedback before i went away snipping, i think im gonna develop a new grow tactic well not new but new mixture of techniques for me. i never used to top side branches until now.
