dont listen to this guyalso if it is your tallest plant...usually the dude
have you ever studied genetics of a plant? I am not saying to chop it with out knowing but if you start from seed, normally your tallest plants are going to be males. I don't want to be rude but it is nature, they have to be taller to make sure they spread the pollen.dont listen to this guy
What about bushest? I have a plant that is bushy and has been my best grower. I am waiting for all my kids to show me their sex. I really hope that one is not a boy! I am waiting and I just started flowering. So I have like 10 days at least before I will know.have you ever studied genetics of a plant? I'm no professional grower, but I can read. My plant that was growing the fastest and was spaced out at the nodes turned out to be male.dont listen to this guy
Check around the 7th or 8th node. You should see something there. If it's a male, you will most likely see sex first.I like that "Irishgirl" just showin some love for the irish, keep it greenWell really cant tell, Im having the same problem with my bigger plant its a little over a month I've heard 5 to 6 weeks youll be able to tell, pending on the strain im sure has alot to do with it as well, but im being patient... what do you think?? still to early??
Why thank you Life's to short to be haten. I think your plants look good. I can't tell the sex though.I like that "Irishgirl" just showin some love for the irish, keep it greenWell really cant tell, Im having the same problem with my bigger plant its a little over a month I've heard 5 to 6 weeks youll be able to tell, pending on the strain im sure has alot to do with it as well, but im being patient... what do you think?? still to early??
I just checked out the nodes on them. One of the taller, skinner ones has spaced out nodes. Now I am pretty sure It's a boy. I will wait until it grows a pair to be sure.I'm no professional grower, but I can read. My plant that was growing the fastest and was spaced out at the nodes turned out to be male.
From all the research I've been doing, males do take on those traits.
It's not a guarantee, but can give you a good idea of what to maybe expect.
