Can you tell the sex of your plant in veg

If they are mature they usually show in veg.. but to answer your question no there's no way to know till you see hairs or balls !! Males are lanky but a female can stretch to... just wait it out till you see a clear sign!

If you veg long enough (roughly 6-8 weeks for most) they will show preflowers and then you can tell the sex so by itself it's possible yes.

As your first pic shows. Little too soon and too vague to be definitive, but the first one is likely a male. Opposite to the leaf you lift up is a ball...

dam you really think thats a ball popping out. i actually wouldn't mind a male to try some cross pollinating but also hoping the rest will be females

Best way to tell: top and put cutting straight onto 12/12 and you will get an answer in 1 week.

There is nothing in those pix that show any signs of sex.

But with that being said, I will bet on that last pic as being feminine ;)

I have a question about preflowers in a bag seed cfl grow I started a few weeks ago, around the stem near the spot where the nodes connect to the stem. There are little green hairs sticking out and at each spot there are four all the way around the main stem. Are those male or female preflowers or just part of the plant that should be there btw in in veg under 24 hr light with one cfl on each plant i forget what spectrum it is but when i bought it i did the resarch so its the propper light for this light regimentCAM00055.jpg CAM00054.jpg CAM00055.jpg CAM00054.jpg

i guess i will see what they do in the next few weeks. I did throw one of them outside so hopefully it wall stet to pre flower soon. Im a little bummed because that first plant that everyone thinks is manly I've already have 3 clones that are doing really well but i guess if there male i don't need them unless i want more pollen

All three are still a mystery, there's nothing (that I can see) in any of those pics indicating sex yet.
