Can anyone post up some pics of the difference between bud production between a 400W HPS light and a 600W HPS light? debating between the two and want to know if the 600 is worth the extra money...it will be in a 42"x40"x7' tall area...soil grow, decent ventilation...

well im running a 400 in a smaller space and would love to have a 600 gets u closer to what the sun puts out lumen wise but i would say definately gives u almost 2x the lumens for 200 more watts

i dont have pics but in your shoes i would def go with the 600W light. it really shouldnt be that much more money than a 400W and you'll be thankful at harvest time

I just upgraded to a 600W and the light penetration is better and it covers more area.. I may fire Both up at the same time depending on how many females I get out of 10. Should know sex in about a week.. Peace

400 watts cover a 3 foot x 3 foot space. your space is slightly larger.

i am using a 400 watt in a 4 ft by 4 ft space for 10 plants and its working fine. Its crowed as hell but they are all budding, i had 10 outta 14 turn out to be female, i was shooting for 6 females but i'm not complaining about 10!

i'd rather have a 600 in there. - you'll be fine with a 400, but will have a better yield with a 600 watt.

i got mine from HTG Supply- cheap, fast and discrete packaging

You get what you pay for. I am running 2 400's in line to a 1000w, and the plants under the 1000 are atleast 6inches taller and twice as thick. It is rather impressive.
