I believe I can let you all hear something cooler than anything posted so far.

Here is a clip I cut from a dubstep.fm mix. (yep another dubstep fan.)

Try this on for size and if anyone can tell me the names of the songs in this short mix I would really appreciate it.

Electronic music is the title you would put on all genre's such as techno, house, trance, electronica, progressive house, tech house, minimal, drum and bass, and all of the more obscure genres also etc etc. It really annoys me when people generalise all electronic music by calling all genres Dance music or Techno music. Techno is Techno as Rock is Rock. Its not heavy metal. And Oregonmeds, I'm quite partial to a bit of Dubstep also. I couldn't name artists or songs but there are a few dubstep artists who gig around me locally and they put on a great show. Some of the performances of Dubstep artists can be quite energetic. Especially the Live shows.

I was led to believe electronic music was growing a lot in the US as it did way back when over here in Europe and the UK in the 80's and 90's?? Has anyone here gone to the Miami Winter Music Conference?
I'm considering making the trip next year. Heres a clip.

hmmm, that doesnt look very fun, looked like there was 20 people there or something. You should come to LA for the Electric Daisy Carnival, its gonna be atleast 30,000 people, and its a 2day event. They take over the whole colliseum and exposition park for the event.THe biggest rave in california, and it has carnival rides too. I dont know, you sorta seem like a music snob so you might not like the dj's lol, but I'm usually so fucked up on shrooms and X I like everything.[youtube]wWKFhF0gwF0[/youtube] last year they had paul van dyk, benassi, moby, rabit in the moon plus like 20 others.. I dont know, I think it'll be better this year though. I saw sasha and digweed at TAO last year, they were amzing.

I suppose I am a bit of a music snob. That circus thing does look quite cool though. That clip I posted was only one yacht party thats on over the 4 days. The WMC isn't just concerts and festies though, Theres all sorts of conferences for DJ's, Producers, Labels etc etc. Heres a better clip:
