Can you prune a plant for yield purposes right after it stars to sex?

If you mean getting rid of shaded leaves and wimpy stems yes. But if you're outdoors right now/today, don't top to multiply stems for budding sights because you'll just get smaller buds to trim from skinnier stems and shock that could cause a good loss in yield, at least where I've grown.
