Simple sugars increase ATP for plant so plant can produce more vigirously. (kinda helps kick the plants metabolism into overdrive). You should get larger and sweeter buds.... Also helps keep plants healthy and promotes their ability to fight disease and pests...
I don't use molasses personally but only you can answer that question. Run 2 plants side by side, one flushed just water and the other with molasses and see if you can taste, see or tell a difference. If you can't, then just flush with water. If you notice a difference then you need to decide if it is enough of a difference to be worth it. I don't care what anyone says, this is all very subjective so you should do what you find works best for you.. I personally use Canna Boost and I usually will run it from the time I see flowers until one week before harvest. I start to flush 2 weeks before harvest with RO water and Boost. I run just that for one week and then the last week I just run RO water.. I have run Boost straight through harvest and I didn't notice a difference between using it the last week and not using it that last week so I now don't use it the last week...
