Hello. I have plan about growing lowryders. Can you share expiriece and tips?
Conditions.
I'm living near Baltic sea our summer season for growing is 6 months at max. So I decidet to go with lowryders.
Intention
I want to buy 10 feminized seeds and make them in atleast 1000 for few years..
I heard that turning female plant in hermophroyte and later pollinating another plants there is only feminised seeds. Is this true?

So please help me to decide witch strai should work. Im looking for best balance between potence and crop. Please share information.

Don't go feminized if you want to make seeds.

Can you tell why?

Because you'll need a male plant to create seeds. A male plant is needed to pollinate your female crop and render it seedy.

You can stress a female to cause nanners on her and pollinate the rest of your fems to get fem seed.Plenty of people and breeders do this to get fem seeds.I dont know what these guys are talking about

You need a male plant to creat reg seeds,stress a female to get nanners for fem seeds.

These guys? I didn't say you couldn't make S1s, I love using CS in the right circumstances. I just happen to think that normal seeds seem to be the way to go if you want to make shit loads. Besides there are plenty of growers who report less vitality with S1s. Do you know what I'm talking about now?

I'll tell you. because if you make a hermie in 99% of the ways it happens and make seeds you'll have Females & hermies, instead of males & females... in fact the hermies you grow will then secretly polinate your marijuana giving it less medical effect and also it wont be as potent... it will be headaches and you'll wind up just throwing the seeds out anyway.

Tardis I used to think the same thing until someone I know went to the seminars held by dj short this yr in cali. This is what he had to say on seeded bud you might be surprised:
"I prefer seeded bud in terms of a finished product."
"Gives the total cannabinoidal spectrum...broadens the cannabinoidal profile." From dj short

He would have to love seeded bud, because he sells seeds! But he would have to smoke a hell of a lot more of it to get high being it focused less on thc production and more on SEEDS.

Do you not think he grows sensimilla also ? Agreed that yes the thc will be less when the plant focuses on seed production but it also broadens total cannabinoidal spectrum. Just saying that there is benefits to seeded bud and one should not discount it.

I think sometimes people aquire a taste for weaker weed. I don't think seeded bud is superior, i think Dj Short might have smoked so long he likes to smoke his flavors more than get high. That I beleive is an equally rational explanation for why unseeded bud is superior yet Dj Short prefers seeded bud. Don't get me wrong, I love my F13, i smoked some with some pinapple express today, but I am saying his bud is better unseeded i believe.

Not stating that seeded bud is superior. But that it is not as bad as one would think and there are pros to there bud being seeded. We are the very same page tardis I just do not want to see the op decline smoke they may enjoy due to seeds that's all.I'm always an optimist so I like to see the positives as opposed to the negatives. But as stated I agree the decline thc is present but he may like the flavor more since the seeds are there. One thing I know for sure about are favorite plant is it can be remembered as getting you high as f*** or being the tastiest thing you ever had. There is not right answer it is personal preference and that is why I love the plant you can have it anyway you want. hi just want to drop in...its not that simple to get a good quality seeds from hermied plant that is why other breeders like simon took him awhile making fem seeds and other breeders wont follow the trend of doing feminized seeds...so if if making feminized seed is as simple as self pollinating ur plant then all of them will just stressed there plant and make money out of it. there is a reason and a big difference why there is a male plant its purpose is to pollinate a female plant, thus in a way for a female plant in self-pollinating should be looken in a different angle, and that is why you see a lot of legendary strains that is a clone only strain and will probably take you awhile to stabilize making seed of self-pollinating it. i am no breeder but thats just my 2 cents, and i would as much as possible leave that to the pros
