aye

they can and will

although ive heard the autoflower strains come from a hemp crossing, (but this may be missinformation)

its basicly the same plant. they just got selectively bred in different directions

yes definitely.......be careful, we had a male send pollen for miles. luckily the girls we were keeping for our seedless batch only had a few seeds in every oz. so still very potent. we were amazed at how far the pollen traveled. it was an exceptional male. so no harm done. you dont want any midwestern hemp genes mixing with your
indica girls. i would suggest hunting and killing every male u can find for miles around (ha ha ha lol...... good luck! lol) as a precaution, hard work but worth it. u dont want to miss a nearby male and lose all your potency to seed production. ps..... we did introduce feral hemp (from illinois) genes into our local grow op in 1972 and found the only redeeming quality was incredible almost indestructible vigor but at the price of much lower potency. we were able to get back all and even more of the potency over the next few years and retain the vigor but it was hardly worth it. at that time we did not have access to any of the quality genes that we have now so breeding was much more difficult.

auto flower and hemp are two totally unrelated strains; however, the auto flower trait can surface in feral hemp poulations, ie when eradication measures are taken up in early sept. then only males that pollenated early with early flowering females will survive to srpout the next year, and so on...
