Yes I am a complete newbie. I know this. =D

Just got my Aero-Flo fans in today and I am curious if this power adapter would work. The pwr adapter also only has 2 wires(once cut).

Thanks in advance!

No that won't work. That power adapter converts you 120v to 12v. Your fan need 120. Get an old extension cord and use the plug from that.

I went ahead and cut one of those extension cords I have and hooked it up. Appears to run fine. So guess I did it right. Just hope I dont burn my house down. =D

Mine is 240 free air. Got it off ebay (also has site airboosterfans.com)

Only cost $30. The ones I saw at Home Depot were so-so but I think only 160free air cfm.

keep that router power cord around....If you want to use DC computer fans for a little addition of airflow up to 500mA of power.

I'm curious, how loud is that fan??
I had messaged the people on ebay and they replied back with "dBA is around 45" but from personal use (only a couple minutes of it being on) it is fairly quite. The 15$ 10inch 3speed fan I got from walmart is louder on its lowest setting.

Im sure it'll be even more quite once ducts are on it.

Awesome. I planned to hook up some computer fans to the back vents of my tent. Thanks for the information!
