i would think you would damage the roots digging them out of the ground, but i cannot say for sure as ive never tried.

You can, but you will also be bringing in pests from outside

I have moved many plants from outdoors into my flowering room with no issues (a pre-emptive strike and then a follow up treatment is all it took).

yes you can bring it inside to finish off.
just make sure you dont bring in any pests of whatnot with you.
also, fuck all you other guys. i'm just a really slow typer.
