Can the few plants destroy my whole crop?

Hi everybody i'm new to this forum. I just came across some plants that looks like it has seed pods. There is a few very small hole in the blackout tarp but not sure if its enough to stress out the plants to become hermaphrodite. Is there anyway i could reverse this and/or prevent other plants from being contaminated? Would "Florel Brand Growth Regulator" solve this problem?

Yeah, you're gonna have some seeds. Not the end of the world, it'll still smoke ok. The damage has been done, but keep an eye on that plant and you may want to get rid of it.

And most definitely, a small light leak can hurt....some strains more than others.

See the little yellow flower in pic 1? That's a male flower, I hate to say...I've had it happen myself, and the smoke was still good. How far into flower are you? One thing you can do is to spray your pants down good with a water mist with lights out, and the water will kill most of the pollen, reducing seeds potentially. But this is also a recipe for powdery mildew, so best to do right before your lights come on, or at least keep a fan on after you spray.

i should of shown a better photo. the plant is developing like a female.
im on my third week of flower. this is a mildly slow strain.
i also havent been able to prune because ive been so busy. now that its the third week of flower, im afraid if i do it now itll stress out the plant even more. what are your thoughts?

I use to be afraid to trim in flower after week 2 myself, but after reading plenty of people DO, I have been myself, right through week 4-5 of flower. If a top stretches and gets too close to a light, I'll snap & bend it right over...They seem to love it, and it hasn't hurt a thing.

You could carefully look that plant over and if there are only a few male flowers, pluck them off with tweezers. ...It it's loaded, might be better to trash it, especially since you have others.

I honestly don't know, and I fortunately haven't had Aphids (yet)....but it is quite common for a plant to have the herm issue from a variety of reasons. Genetics, lighting timer issues /light leaks, stress....and bugs could stress a plant, so possibly.

So you think you have Aphids? I know if you do a site search you'll find tons of info.

that would be great if you could provide the site to me. i'm sure i have aphids.. when i walk around the room they stick onto my overall haha. but i've been trying to control them by spraying down the plants with "Lost Coast PLANT THERAPY"
I doesn't seem like it has much effect after a week.

My mom has aphids all the time on her outdoor plants and they never herm. She definitely keeps the numbers down through out veg and flowering but they never stress too much from them.

I was talking about using the search function on the top of the page....There's days worth of reading on the subject. click this https://www.rollitup.org/search/847622/?q=aphids&c[title_only]=1&o=relevance
