Hot and humid part of the south. I grow indoors, but am thinking of tackling outdoors next spring to add to my harvest. We can get some either wet and sticky summers or dry summers. It is best to be prepared. Keep some fungicide on hand and you should be OK. If you can, pot grow, in case of hurricanes you can relocate. I'm going to dig holes in ground and set pots in holes, plants retain water better and stay a bit cooler. This summer was extremely dry. We get LOTS of sun, which i know they'll love.Desert nights get pretty cold pretty quick (because of less moisture to hold the heat) but I would think that you would get a nice late harvest, and have a chance to see how long the plants can last into the "winter."
On a side note- Serapis, I noticed on another thread you are from the south. Is that the hot and dry south or the hot and wet south. Next year I am going to do an outdoor grow in a hot and humid place that rains almost daily. I was just hoping to see what strains you might have worked with or heard about in that environment.
