I understand topping, how when you cut the stem it forks into two but what is supercropping exactly?
this is true in a way or its a form of supper cropping. any bending or training of branches is in a way supper cropping. my version of super cropping is more like yoga for plants but it basicly end with the same result. busy plants with "all tops"supercropping is when you bending a branch, like in half, to where it is horizontal instead of vertical. the tip of the branch will turn upwards and all the nodes that come out of the branch grow upwards too creating more tops, all depending on how many nodes are on the branch you bend
That is high stress training. Low stress training is bending the stem into the shape you want without damaging anything.Ok robbiek, so you actually pinch it sideways, so I take it this can be done outdoor.

im going to explain what supercroping is instead of what it does, by pinching or bending the branch of choice over, you want it to be lower than the point of benf, reason- the bend or knuckle created when doing this allows nutrients to flow double the speed from th root to th top, and slows down the nutrient flow back, ( xylem/phloem) so the knuckle does many things for the plant, its stronger than a straight branch, it maes nutes flow up fasster and down slower, anf will ultimately create twice the amount of bud site, i thought you may want to know the reason before you start the procedure, i do this ONLY during veg as its not lst, its high tress, so it is best with stable strains, and good genetics, mostly bbest for indica dominate plants, but works well with sativas also!!!!!
Thanks hydrocropper, good to know that it needs to be lower than the bend, a siphon mechanism. Ok so I did top one of my plants last year and it grew 2 tops, it actually did grow very strong, it was much thicker than my other plants, not sure if this is coincedence or not. I was under the impression that you could do this to any stem and it would create the same result, I'm pretty sure it does bc I've seen a lot of pics and info about this. If you know different please share your experience and opinions.
