Why are you using it?Im using H2O2 (17.5% grade) at the rate of 0.5ml/L in my RDWC system, Im just wandering if using it during flush will affect the bud/smoke in a negative way.
Simply to keep the res clean from pathogens, roots clean & to add a little more dissolved oxygen. Why are you using it?
Keeping your res at around 65 deg will do all that.Simply to keep the res clean from pathogens, roots clean & to add a little more dissolved oxygen.
lol you make it sound so easy. Good luck getting your reservoir to stay at 65 degrees year round without a chiller. Which if your gonna go as far as buying a chiller might as well go with a hydroponics system that doesn't suck like drip irrigation or flood and drain. Then you don't need to worry about using h202 or keeping the reservoir impossibly cool.Keeping your res at around 65 deg will do all that.
i think he ment using an insulated colman cooler with some ice packs lol
I use 5 gallon sport coolers and I set them temps at 65-68 after res changes and they will stay that range for 7-14 days.lol you make it sound so easy. If I run into res temp troubles again I'm thinking of peltier cooling on a thermostat. I have some old water cooling puter gear new still in the boxes I can use to cool the water instead of the other way around. See how it works out.I use 5 gallon sport coolers and I set them temps at 65-68 after res changes and they will stay that range for 7-14 days.

Dude, common man, are you serious? Use Google next time you decide to blow information out your *ss. The cooler the water the more dissolved oxygen the water is capable of holding. And yes, that includes ice.How is lowering the temperature of water add more dissolved oxygen?? Almost positive as temperature drops the oxygen inside the water depletes. And later freezes were there is zero oxygen. Keeping you temps under 65 will not keep your roots clean they will get colored stained from the nutrient and additives. H2O2 prevents that been using 35% H2O2 for the past 1 year after not using it for 6 years and will never grow with out it. Addinging it to the flush is just good rez maintenance less crap to clean later
Wow buddy why so angry i dont understand you must be very young or something if you took that as a insult. Jeez calmdown smoke a joint chillllll dude. Im also very intrigued about your google skill assuming its how you get ALL your information about everything guessing you base your life on wiki haha messing with ya You are correct i was pretty intoxicated and was thinking in the complete opposite direction no need to go and be a troll about it Still dont understand tho how lowering your water temps prevents root discoloration? Im not arguing with you that temps should be at 65 we both agree on that i used a chiller for years in till i found a way that i can save hundreds of dollars on electricity and the unit it self by just buying a one gallon bottle of 35% H202 for $20 adding 1.7ml per L every nute change so. After a horrible flood that happened thanks to a chiller i Switched over about a year ago to h2o2and never been happier. Less crap around the grow room just taking up space. You also have to worry bout eutrophication with a chiller With h202 there is no worry about eutrophication as there is never any algey growth if used properly.Dude, common man, are you serious? Keeping your water below 70 deg (preferably ~65deg) will not only allow your res too hold more oxygen but it will also prevent Pythium from living. Now that's a happy root environment!
Peace
No need to apologize my friend. I'm just saying, why fix potential problems with chemicals when you can just give the plants what they need. But I do understand why you feel so stupid, after all you did give somebody completely bogus information regarding dissolved oxygen. Now that's got to be very embarrassing. Oh, and along with Google, you might want to hit spell check in the future too. Correct spelling and grammar may give your responses some credence.Wow buddy why so angry i dont understand you must be very young or something if you took that as a insult. I totally agree... Too many things going on and too much thinking will likely be the problem.... I would keep rez at a nice 65 degrees and there will be no way for "Pathogens" to harm your crop....Keeping your res at around 65 deg will do all that.
