can put my germinated seed in the pot i will use thruout my grow?

i have a 36 inch wide portable closet its big and stands tall so i can grow a pretty large plant in here but i dont want it to be too big maybe 3 feet?... also, when flowering comes I know i have to buy a carbon filter to get rid of the smell but i am not sure how big the carbon filter should be for one plant :/ any advice on that?

let it grow 8-12 inches. be sure to keep your cfls really close to the plant and hang them all around the whole plant. 1 plant is not going to smell too much you may get away with getting a few of those smell absorbing gel things you can get at the local drugstore. put them in the same room as your portable closet... should take care of it.
