Can Powdery Mildew go away? I am experimenting!

Ok this is where all my plants got PM. It's really bad on the lower part of the plants, u cant see it the photos or maybe u can. I just wanted to give u an idea that i have had these a long time. I started growing in Nov. I germinated these in late Jan and early feb. I am on my 4th and 5th flower now. So I planted them outside in Late april. OK is doing fantastic. She is the real big one in the 15 gallon pot.
Here She has been in this big pot for several weeks. And the top of her is looking great. So I decide to cut all the leaves and stems that are affected with the PM

Plus I live 20miles north of Seattle in what is called the convergent zone. Yea use ur imagination. So it has really only been partly cloudy and mid 60's with a lot of rain and 1 or 2 days a week over 70. July 4th is when we celebrate true summer and shit gets over 80 till mid September, and if we get an Indian Summer it will be in the upper 60's till mid october. Cross ur fingers all.

The Summer solctice is Wendsday. Seattle will have 15hrs59min21sec. of daylight. Thats an hour and a half more sunlight than anywhere else in the lower 48. I can always move her into my garage, as long as it doesnt get over 7'. Well there is no PM I can see. What kind of yield can u get from something like this?

please don't laugh at my newbie question, but whats up with the stalk on the plant with the wire fence around it. Is that a particular strain that grows stalks like that? Or do you train the plant when its young to grow like that?

Actinovate is a OMRI fungicide for pm. You can use it as a foliar spray and as a root drench. Keys to no PM, circulation, temp, cleanlyness. Since your outside, and wet, and cold. Use Actinovate! Read the directions.. and apply. Hope it helps.

powdery mildew is a fungus that works it's way from bottom to top by splashing of rain water (usually) and once the leaf is infected you can't stop that leaf from dieing. you can stop the fungus from spreading. it may take a couple applications. in fact you may have to apply after it rains again as the active ingredient washes off. there are anti fungal sprays and powders in most garden centers. i've never tried what smokemedprop215 recommended but it sounds good.

Wash it off with a water phd at 8 every day or spend the money on the awesome pm wash

i use greencure ...its organic and cheap...use it twice and PM is gone...for good...

I use neem oil

pm is systemic....you can kill the what you see with greencure.... milk and water... h202... neem oil ect. they are all just bandaids

Do you want a consant battle with pm or do you want to try to get rid of the pm

We live in washington....theres pm on alot the plants outside due to our environment in the area.... so the spores travel

A systemic treatment is nessary for a systemic fungus....6 ml of eagle20 in a 32 oz bottle mix a scoop of greencure in for spreader

Now if you continue to grow outside...you will get pm again...it only takes 1 spore to make cantact with your plant

Im inside and still get pm 2-3 times a year cause the diesease is in our area on outdoor vegetation

A healthy plant will be unaffected by PM, but it can still show if the plant is stressed...my clones often get PM but with evn no treatment there is no sign once the clones root and become healthy plants. A plant deficient in Potassium is more likely to be affected by PM...I have used a milk water spray with good results, perhaps, but like I said with no treatment all my PM clears up on it's own in no time.

Your clones are getting pm because the mother/plant you pulled the clones off of is infected.....

pm is inside the plant... systemic... and gets passed on to clones from the host plant the clones were taken from

PM lives in your plant for up to 2 weeks before any visual signs...... like coconuggs said SYSTEMIC....... pm will affect all plants healthy or not, some will be unaffected for a longer period of time or may have a higher resistance. Similar to if you get a cold and someone else in the same house you live in doesn't get the cold. ACTINOVATE!!!!!!!!!! one word.
