Can pot design influence root rot?

You know, this forum may not be the right place for developing theories. No one seems to be helping, only providing negative feedback. Thanks everyone and have a great day.

Some of yall are just pathetic.
Find that Ignore button and use it...after some time you'll find you no longer see those 'pathetic' posts...and only engage with people you get along with.

Idk if it influences rot but I can tell you for sure not all fabric pots are created equal. The cheap ones on Amazon hold water at the bottom unlike the smart pot brand that drains every little drop.

So is your post.

Go design a damn pot if you don't like what's already on the market. 99.9999999999999% of people growing in pots that are available today do not have issues with root rot. If you have so many issues with root rot that you think you need a better designed pot you should look at your watering practices that are causing your grow medium to go anaerobic creating an environment for root rot. It's not the damn pot it's the grower.

OP is really good at combative threads and posts

Part of the "Poor me" generation I guess
Plus it's a somewhat ridiculous thread to begin with. I've been growing plants in pots for decades without a single instance of root rot as have millions of people across the globe.

They apparently have some theory that it's the pot design. It isn't. My theory is that it's the grower not the pot.

You remember when you knew nothing about growing? There's people out there just now discovering plants and growing...they have to learn everything from scratch...and instead of meeting nurturing people with experience...they meet your condescending posts. Bravo

Instead of research and reading like we all did they start silly combative redundant posts asking pointless questions with no real definitive answer

How to grow Marijuana was a great book

Here's my first post before crybaby called everyone pathetic.

Cloth, fabric, clay, whatever. I've never had root rot growing in pots. The only time I've ever had root rot was growing hydro. If you're getting root rot in pots then you're keeping the soil too wet causing it to become anaerobic and a breeding ground for the bacteria that cause root rot. As @bam0813 has stated. Proper watering practices are all that's needed. It doesn't matter what pot your using. If you keep the soil like a swamp roots can rot.
What's condescending about that?

I didn't give crybaby a spanking until they started calling people names. I'm not here to nurture children. I gave accurate information regarding root rot when growing in pots. They then had a temper tantrum because they want to blame a damn pot for root rot but nobody apparently wanted to help with their "Theory" so everyone is pathetic.

Please use that damn sissy "Ignore" button and block my posts since I'm such a condescending ass. I don't want you to get your feathers all ruffled up due to one of my posts.
