Can plants Fruit on 18/6

Is it possible?i have never heard of that happening it is the wierdest thing do
some strains just do that?

ahh ok so some strains like lowrider automatically fruit But does that mean theres no need for 12/12? they can just stay on 18/6 or 24/7 or would 12/12 acelerate the fruiting process more?
