Can Mother Plants Have Daylight

I have 3 mother plants I would like to place them in a room that has a small window on one wall. (2'x3') My question is will the daylight that is coming in the window be harmful or foul up my 18 hours of day light and 6 hours of night for my mothers, since the mothers are on fluro tubes. I was thinking that since the plant is not sitting directly in front of that daylight coming from the window then I should be okay. Will this work or is it out of the question.

thats fine just cant get 12 hours of darkness doesnt matter what color light..

you could put them out in the direct sun if you wanted. no worries.
