Can it be transferred

So i bought 2 clones from a clone store. Never have had any issues with previous clones. Now im starting to show signs of pm on both of these plants as they are getting bigger. Is this something that can be transferred if the mother plant had it?

Yes it can be transferred. It's spread by airborne spores. Keep it away from any other plants you might have until you can treat it.

Clones from outside are probably the most common cause of PM being brought into a clean grow. Always quarantine any new vegetative matter brought to the house including houseplants. Always.

I’m not sure I understand what you mean by transferred. If you mean like is it systemic and once a plant gets it all the clones will have it, then, no. It’s spread by spores that can be prevented from germinating with good RH control practices.

What im trying to say is i bought a clone from a shop and if the mother they took the clone from had pm could it be transferred to the clone. There was nothing on the clones they both looked healthy and clean. A few weeks pass by im starting to see white spots of pm. My other strains dont show signs of anything just them 2 that i got have a little on them.

The spores were already present on the clones. It just took awhile for it to show up.

If this problem is so common, and is nothing more than physical contact, why does it still exist? Killing invisible amounts of surface PM should be pretty simple. Are you telling me there's a preference to grow PM and spray buds at harvest? Because that's real common too. Or are pot farms really this braindead?

I would never buy clones. These braindead fraud breeders charging 15 bucks for bottom larfo branches with no starches or endophytes. Laughable this entire industry is throwing it's reputation in the trash over utter refusal to educate themselves. Monsanto will save us i guess. I'll buy cuts from them since no one else is qualified.

Mine came from a reputable place that i have been buying clones from for years without issues until now. However these are early in veg yet. If it was in flower id chop the whole thing and throw out.

Nothing changed my other plants have been just fine. I sprayed them anyway in hopes they dont come get it. Hopefully i treated them quick enough it didnt get on the other plants.

Some plants are more susceptible to WPM than others. My Green Crack was the most resistant when I had to deal with it. I first was thinking that I got a bad clone, but I only get them from a really respected shop, and then I realized it was my conditions. I was trying another area to veg in and it was getting a cool damp breeze and was getting a little too cold in there to begin with. But if your conditions haven't changed and you have lots of airflow, I'm not sure. How about some pics?
