Can I take the a clone from a plant 4weeks into flowering? A bag seed turned out to be a very strong, pungent citrus smelling plant. i would like to take the smaller lower branch, but i dont want to cut her if my chances of the clone surviving are slim. thanks for any info!

i tried this but didnt follow it through, looked like it was gonna work but it got too cold. i posted a thread about it an a couple people told me that it would work, it would jus take more time, and to cut off any parts already budding, as they would just rot. hope you have better luck than me!

yes you can. i've taken cuttings from a plant i was manicuring. they rooted in 3 days. they will have some screwy growth for a week or two but soon straighten out.

I recently took clones from plants on the second week of flowering three days before they showed. The clones with the addition of some hormone rooted in about a week and are the shortest most compact budding plants I have seen. It's important to keep most of the stuff the same, same environment and lights, trick the clone into thinking She just fell off of the other plant. Hope this helps, cheers
