Can I Wait A Couple Weeks

OK, here goes. I have a Sensi Star under a 600 watt hps. She has been flowering under 12-12 for 57 days today. I have about 10 percent amber trichs. 60 percent cloudy and 30 percent clear. I have been flushing for 2 weeks. I just swiched to RO water and I will be doing a full flush in 7 days.

My question is can I wait for 14 more days? I have a business trip and I would perfer to cut her down when I can be home to monitor the drying process. How long is the "window"? Would I rather harvest a little early rather than a little late? let me know what you think. I have included a few pics. :peace:

Sorry offtopic question, 1st grow newb here, but with your trich colors, what kind of high will you get? I'm about to put my own bitches into flowering, wonder what colors should I be waiting/on the lookout for.

Also, that's some nice pictures of the trichs close up! How did you take a magnified picture, through a microscope of some sort?

I dont know what kinda high I will get. I plan to kill my girl Tuesday if I dont here from a "Master" grower otherwise. I really want to wait until i return home in 14 days so I can monitor the drying process. I am comtemplating cutting the main cola and letting the rest go a little longer.

I used a regular RS scope you buy for 10 bucks. I know some people dont like them but I have become pretty handy with it. I dont use the focus knob i just leave it on 60x and move the scope in and out it works really well. then I use my camera to "look" through the lens and take picts. It takes time but you can do it. I gonna have some "scope hash" pretty some also the little light protector thingy is covered in good stuff.

dude you should cut the maion colas and allow the others to develop.... the high will be good ,, but two weeks will probably be too long... unless you want a cough lock stoned high

how will u water it when ur gone??

My sig. other takes care of the ladies while I tend to business. Like I said I think I will cut her down on Tuesday. :cry:

That will give me 6 days of supervised drying. I have not made up my mind as to whether I will cut the whole thing or just the cola, either way it will be hard to slice her up. :cry:

i'd wait. a lot of the leaves will die or yellow but it looks like they could still go 2 more weeks.

i'd almost give them one big heavy feeding then let them go 2 more weeks. the extra feeding will help keep things green and will flush out in two weeks. maybe a double strength dose.

Holy crap. The sensi star is the only one that is geting close. My Monkey Butt is a sativa and will take 3-4 more weeks at least. I flushed them all 10 days ago and the TDS was 800-1000. I was told Sensi does not like alot of nutes. She had da claw early on and I stopped using sweet after FDD and I spoke last week. Since then I have only watered with RO and little Beastie Blooms.

I am gonna post some more Trich picts tomorrow(lights are out) and see what the Experts say.

Hello everyone,

I have decided to wait. I gave her a dose of nutes and I will cut her down on the 16th she will be 70 days old.12/12. I am still seeing alot of new growth and I am in no hurry.

Thank you everyone .I cut most of the dead stuff off and performed some LST. She looks hot I will post Pics tomorrow. This is my first grow.

Ok, so I wanted to chop my girl down as soon as I returned home on Friday. I decided not to. I have been given her RO water for the last 10 days. She seems to love it. After FDD told me to give her some N she went on a growth spirt. White hairs everywhere. I built a dryer box and I think I will kill her this weekend. Here are some pictures of the trichs. They are about 60 percent cloudy 25 percent amber and 15 percent clear.

PS she has this weird smell. come to find out from the "fellas" at Paradise she is supposed to smell like that. Its like a metal smell. You know that taste you get in your mouth when you run too fast or for a long time :hump:

This is done. Flushed and fin nah b smoked.... in a month. IMO you should wait. I mean really wait to cut em down. The smoke is aswesome.
