you can get the exact same bulbs for half that price at lowes or home depot.there is nothing special about his bulbs.you can get the same 3 pack 2700k and 6400k anywhere.his add says 600 watts ,its not really 600watt ,its 24watts per bulb THEY ARE EQUIVQLENT bulbs.24 watts each.

drew has it right. those are a ripoff. i bought a 6pack of the reds yesterday for 12 american dollars at lowes.

to answer your 2nd question, yes, those bulbs will grow a small plant just fine. and good luck with your first grow!
