Well if you have to move its not really an option, it's like you're gonna leave em behind. I suggest renting a U-haul van and using that to transport. Since you're already moving you probably will already be in need of one. I just suggest doing the move during the plants dark period as you can't rig lights in the van. Wedge em in good so they aren't sliding around as you drive.

You may have a bit of slowed growth for a day or two after its all set back up, but it will for sure recover.

I moved a couple plants that were 5 weeks into their flowering cycle with no problems. I put them in the back of the suv with the wife for the 90 minute drive put them under lights a.s.a.p.

BTW, I'd recommend you move them during the LIGHTS ON period...If you move them while they're sleeping, it'll be hard to avoid any light exposure. It doesn't matter if they get a couple hours of darkness during their light on period, it's a couple hours of light during the dark period that you have to worry about as far as stressing them out.

i dissagree with above post. move them during thier light period so you dont have to worry about them getting hit with unwanted light (wich they will if your moving out of your light sealed grow room)

not sure what you drive or how big there plants are just keep them out of the wind (dont transport them in the back of a pickup, put em in the back seat of the car) if they are illigal then put a light sheet or blanket over them so the cops dont see them and they will be fine. i would suggest having thier new home set up for them before you transport so you can set them up right away.

shouldnt be too much stress on them if done right, like i said the wind factor is the biggest one. if you are renting a truck (like a u haul truck or box truck) to move then thats best bet just put em in the back and they will be fine, maybe secure them so they dont fall over.

kinda related question... what makes a flowering plant hermie, geting more then 12 hours of light or not getting consistant amounts of light (like if a plant one day got 11 hours of light and the next got 11 hrs and 30 mins and next 11 hrs and 10 mins would it hermie eventually even if it stayed under 12 hrs of light)?
