can I take my meds with me? Can't sleep without weed.

I have a question about medical marijuana. If I have a card here in CA . Will I be able to travel to a non-legal state with it? I'm assuming because it's for medical use it should apply, but then again because it's state I don't think the medical card is valid. California to Florida flying.......
 
you need a card for each individual MEDICAL state you plan to take your meds. you cannot legally bring any type of marijuana into any state that prohibits medical use.

I was able to travel with medication. The airline rules imply you can (not FAA) the airline. I brought 1/8 with me on my person. It was not hidden. I put it in my med bag....with the other 11 bottles of meds.

On a different flight I carried 3 pre-rolled tubed joints. I was stopped and asked what was in my pocket (said smokes) than told to remove it. I handed them to the screener who examined and than returned them to me. I think ultimately it is a judgement call. My experience only....... I am 50, never been in trouble, have my card and am sick. I'm also tired of the BS we go through to get meds.
 
ive flew from cali to florida with an eighth of flower and two disposable vape pens that I bought from the club in sacramento. put them in my suitcase with my card in a bag that the club gave me, and Had no problem. My plane landed and as soon as I got my bag I went to the restroom with my vape and came out with smiles, ready for sunny florida!:cool:
 
Arizona and Nevada will accept your medical rec. There are a few others, but Florida isn't one of them. That southern hospitality is real, so you shouldn't have a problem getting some, but it won't be as good as California cannabis.
