The reason im asking is because I want side branches to do as well as the main cola

Imo a long auto like super Cali haze should recover in time but I wouldn't do it with a shorter flowering time auto.

use lst to train it, then you're not really hurting the plant and it will bush up nice

I always start lst as soon as the top can be tied down almost flat across the rim of the planter. It's always started before they get up potted so when they go into their final home, they're always bent where they need to be and solid.
Then it just a matter of following the rim again and training to have a uniform top.
Autos won't be much different when trained than a photo imo. Plants that have good side branching no matter if auto or not will work out really nice.

Um in.theory I.was.thinking of tying it if.it.streches too much because I.want the side branches as nice as the.main cola

Si.I.would.tie.the.main branch to.keep.it even with the.side.branches in an effort to.keep the light close

Here's a lst of mine. The extra colas is what it's all about. That's a photo not an auto but depending on the auto it could be trained similarly.

It's either a white widow or a sour blueberry.
Can't remember for sure.
But that's lst. Works great for extra colas and easy to keep the canopy level.

ya just try to get it in position before flower really sets in and the branches get woody

Between the 3rd and 4 node place a strap to the pot rim. You don't have to bend her all the way over just bend a bit and place good pressure on her and let it grow. Everyone a side branch reaches the same height as the main now place a strap on it and open her up the same way. Soon you'll have a fully trained no stress plant in flower. Here's one of my last lst plants

Thats exactly the effect I want for my dinafem ww xxl... I want the side branches to be as big as the main cola, that way Can get the same yield from 1 plant as I would with 4-5 plants

Could you elaborate step by step? I am tying the stems in order to apread them out and away from the main cola in every direction?

You want to train it so the canopy is uniform and the branches are spread out enough to give it decent light penetration. As you're training it you will see where everything needs to be

Yup. Start with the main and as the side branches catch up start with them. The top circles the rim to keep it low while the side branches are catching up.
