There won't be any problems taking clones during preflowering stage.

From my understanding it is not advisable cut off large portions of a plant during flowering, but we're talking small clones here anyway and during preflowering.

You can also take clones during flowering, however from the experience I have this is more of a pain in the ass than anything as it takes FOREVER for a clone to root and get back to veg (~3 months in aero). For this reason I would only clone in flowering as an absolute last resort.

You can but I am having a hard time with them right now. They are taking a long time to root, 3 of the 4 have finally lost their preflower and showing a little new green. No roots showing out of the rockwool yet and it is two weeks. 1 has been under 24/0 for two weeks and is in full flower still so all I can say is good luck. Just have patience.:weed:

The clones I took last time from the outdoor seemed to take a bit longer than others. Theyre still in my tray after 16 days. Dude, if you have problems with rockwool, I would advise you to switch to oasis wedges. Those are so easy to use and its very rarely that one doesnt root. Shits amazing.

So I am in the clear to make a trip up to the caretakers orchard tomorrow. Arent they going to be showing flowers pretty soon? Have they gone into the photoperiod yet?

thanks for the tip on the oasis wedges, usually I just root in plain water and a drop of super thrive and run about 98 to 99%, most of the screw ups are my own fault.....lol. But I do lots of other rootings of all sort of plants I will certainly give it a try, thanks again.:joint:

I use clonex cloning solution and hygrozyme in the standing water tray for 4 days, which probly doesnt matter, and clonex gel. Always get healthy rooted clones in 2 weeks.
