Can i still add bone meal to my plant?

:confused: I was wondering my plants are 6 weeks old and a liitle over a foot tall i am a outside grower and have a spot on a crop field that rotate crops yearly i did not tale a ph test or any othere readings on the field cause i figured they grew crops there so the land is good but when i planted them there i did not mix any nutes in with the soil im using miracle grow slow release i know some might not like it but it has worked for me but my questin is can i still add bone meal to my soil my just scraping some top layer off and sprinkle some down and then add some fresh top soil back and give it a good watering thats was just my idea and could sure use some input on this matter thanks for your time and hap,py growing:confused:

you should use bone meal in the last half of flowering for P. blood meal at the beginning for N.

Yes, do that.

Above is right about blood and bone, but bone takes so long to break down, you really don't want to wait too long to apply it. Blood releases pretty quick.
