Can I start feeding my seedlings??

Hey everyone, so I’ve been doing as much research as possible, this is my second grow now and I am trying to do a much better job than my last grow as the previous grow had all kinds of issues from nutrient deficiencies, heat stress and etc... I planted my seeds 8/30 , they sprouted 9/1 and as of tomorrow it would have been 2 solid weeks, they are growing pretty nice so far. I am using Emerald Harvest which their formulas (micro & grow) specify seedlings. I’ve seen a YouTube video that once the “Fan leaf” appears then its time to start feeding them nutrients but only at a 1/4 strength. Other sources state to do it until the 2nd or 3rd set of leaves appear? Please advise and take a look at the picture! Thanks !

Looks good a little wet from what I can see but my phone suck you should be able to feed your ladys as always thank you for your time

You did not specify what medium your growing in? If in Coco, dwc or hydroponics of some sort you can feed daily once you see 1st set of serrated leaves. But if in soil and depending on the type of soil you should wait a a couple weeks into the grow IF your soil comes with nutrients already in it. Hope the helps

hey there! I am using Foxfarm ocean soil. Tomorrow would be 2 weeks from planting in soil so it would be okay to start giving nutrients?

Not being a stickler, but your plants quit being seedlings after first multi-fingered leaf. Some say first node after cotyledons.
It appears nutrients in the FFOF are sufficient to this point as they look very healthy. I can't speak to Emerald Harvest, but
like the idea of starting out with reduced dosage and increasing as required, I grow autos and took this question out of
the equation until week 7 by amending my soil with a non-burning, organic dry granular. Good growing to you and great start.

I agree with Radical Ross FFOF and FFHF both carry a balanced amount of nutrients on their own for up to 3 weeks. If plants are younger than that I would wait. Especially with FFOF it will burn young plants and they may not make it.
You should definitely look into coco coir grow as it is near impossible for a newbie like me to drown a pretty lady. In this pic below in Coco I have watered her with 3/4 gal of water and nutes everyday since first true set of leaves with 20% runoff every watering with Fox Farm trio and Calimagic only and NOT! One single burn in her leaves. In her 9th week of veg due to waiting on new light!
