A faulty timer that runs the 600 sodium lights has been sticking and staying on too long. I started them indoors but now I wanna to put these babies outside . theyve been used to 18 hours of artificial light ; Theres about 15 hours of light outside ;Will this confuse them to start flowering as soon as they go outside. Thats an instant cut from 18 to 15 hours. If I wait another month there'll be about 16 hours of light outside.It sounds as if the plants are quite sensitive to light changes . I want to harvest them in October so Im trying to avoid them flowering forat least another two months. Any views please

You should be able to keep it from budding by keeping it on 18\6 light cycle

They won't bud till it gets to 12\12...the way mother nature intended

15 hours of light is usually enough. If you get a lot of those hours full sunlight, go for it.
If its shady a lot of the day, I would wait a bit longer just in case

I'm a aggressive grower, but what wont to know is :
if I change my light from a 12\12 to a 10\14 will it slow down or speed up the flowering?

well they would be getting less light hours. so it slows growth. keep it 12/12 trust me.
